The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Solomon Brako Kusi at the Business Resource Centre (BRC), presented start-up kits to participants of the Business in a Box (BizBox) Project, organised by the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with the Ghana Enterprises Agency.

A total of 40 beneficiaries; specifically trained food processing participants (pastries) received essential equipment to enhance their productivity and support their transition into sustainable business operations.

In his remarks, he encouraged beneficiaries to utilise the equipment responsibly and effectively to achieve its intended purpose.

He reitereated that the intervention reflects the government's shared commitment to reducing unemployment by equipping young people with practical skills and the necessary resources to thrive in today's competitive business environment.

The Birim Central Municipal Assembly remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting these beneficiaries through continuous monitoring and enabling policies to ensure the long-term sustainability of such initiatives.

This is not merely a distribution exercise-it is a strategic investment in livelihoods, local economic development and the transformation of our municipality.
